Forest Hills is moving to Roost
Our new school directory — private by design, and built to do more than a contact list.
Getting in
Returning Forest Hills families
If you were in the Directory Spot directory last year, you already have a Roost account. Sign in with the same email address you used with Directory Spot and you're in.
New families
Enter your email and you'll be walked through a short request form. A Forest Hills directory admin reviews it and gets you set up.
Classroom assignments
Roost won't show classroom assignments until the district roster arrives in October. Everything else works right now — you don't have to wait to get started.
Need help? Email the PTO at fhptoprez@gmail.com and we'll get you sorted.
What you can do in Roost
Get matched to volunteer opportunities that fit your time and interests — instead of scrolling a spreadsheet looking for a slot.
Find open clubs and committees and see where help is needed for upcoming events.
Create private circlesfor playdates, carpools, and birthday invites. You choose who's in them; nobody else sees them.
Find or list trusted help — sitters, tutors, and coaches recommended by other Forest Hills parents.
Your information, your call
You control what's shared and who sees it, down to the individual field. Roost doesn't sell data, doesn't run ads, and doesn't share your information outside your school community. Prefer not to be listed at all? That's a supported choice, not a buried setting.
Questions
Is this replacing ParentSquare?
No. ParentSquare is still where the school and your teacher communicate with you. Roost is the parent-to-parent and PTO-to-parent side — the directory, volunteering, and community.
Do I have to use the app?
No. Roost works in any browser at app.roost.directory. The app is just faster.
I signed in and it didn't recognize my email.
Try the other email address your family uses with the school. If you're still stuck, email the PTO at fhptoprez@gmail.com.
